For Eigenwijs Leiden
The cozy brown café called Eterij & Drinkerij 'Eigenwijs' in Leiden has been in existence for over 15 years and was taken over by a new owner in 2023.
The website had not been updated since 2016, was not responsive, and could definitely use a modern and fresh look.

The challenge
The challenge of this project was (1) modernizing the website, (2) refreshing the menu cards, and (3) adding new photos taken by Nerdish.uk
The approach
After extensive brainstorming about the wishes of the owner of 'Eigenwijs' Leiden, we began by capturing new high-quality photos for the restaurant. Then, I curated a beautiful selection of the best photos and lightly edited them.
Next, we proceeded with realizing the website and refreshing the menu cards. The restaurant owner had a lot of trust in us and gave us considerable freedom in designing the website. Of course, we emphasized the restaurant's longstanding popularity by incorporating reviews into it.
The result
The result is a modern and clearly organized website for 'Eigenwijs' Leiden, featuring new high-quality photos, refreshed menu cards, and a clear overview of customer reviews for the restaurant.
We made it clear that 'Eigenwijs' is the place for the best ribs in the world, and in Leiden. However, in addition to ribs, many other delicious meat dishes are served, as well as vegetarian options. In short, there's something for everyone!

Nerdje.nl was vanaf het begin een cruciale partner bij de start van mijn onderneming.
